There's nothing I love more than an excuse to set a beautiful table! And 4th of July is exactly that. Although it may look different this year, with less people, and less pomp and circumstance, we can still make it a beautiful family day.
Often times, with 4th of July, I go BOLD. Red, white and blue. Stars and stripes. This year, I find myself craving a bit more calm in all aspects of my life. So I decided to set a light, airy table with just a touch of patriotic charm. Perfect for dinner in the garden!
My friend, Flowers by Katie Ford, created two beautiful floral arrangements full of green and white blooms that anchored the table perfectly. I layered the table with a white windowpane tablecloth, woven placemats, Juliska melamine plates and bamboo silverware, and used our ginger jar tea towels as oversized napkins for outdoor dining. I popped a little flag into the napkin ring to add that patriotic touch, but what I love about the table is that you can eliminate the flag detail, and still have a gorgeous table for any summer occasion.
Put a little LOVE into your tablesettings this month with our new Valentine's Day themed paper goods! Whether you are hosting a festive family dinner, a kids party or galentine's day brunch - a pink and green table is *just* the thing to create something special for your loved ones.
Valentine's Day is a great time to spread the LOVE! I like to take the opportunity to drop off a little HAPPY to my girlfriends as a surprise during these bleak winter months. This year, it's definitely pretty in pink!
